A digital clock shows the time with digits instead of moving hands.
What it means
Read the digits as time, not as a decimal number. In 07:05, the 07 tells the hour and the 05 tells the minutes after the hour. A leading zero keeps the display in a fixed two-digit shape; it does not change the time.
